Coconut Water

There has been a lot of buzz about coconut water in recent times; and for good reason. Not only is it excellent for hydration, but it is also absolutely full of vitamins and nutrients, antioxidants and enzymes.

Much has been written about the benefits of coconuts, including that they might help prevent heart disease, but the main reason why it’s a real super food is because of the huge amounts of potassium contained within (up to 15 times more than sports drinks) and yet it’s all natural.

Madonna loves Vita Coco Coconut Water so much, she has reportedly invested $1.5 million in the company! There are plenty of other brands available including C Coconut Water, Cocobella, Chi and H2COCO. If you like your coconut water fresh, like I do, then try your local supermarket, fruit shop or organic grocer.
