COOKBOOKS WE LOVE


Over the last few years, we've seen a lot of fad diets hit the health food scene ... low fat, high fat, low carb, high carb, no sugar, the list goes on.  But, as our nutritionists keep on telling us, staying slim and healthy is much easier when you’re simply eating whole, nutrition-rich foods. Why?  Well, not only are diets totally unsustainable, but the word ‘diet' itself gives the idea that your healthy eating habit is going to come to an end at some point.  Eating 'whole', on the other hand, is a habit you can keep for life.

That's why we were so excited when we found out that Vladia Cobrdova was releasing a brand new recipe book called ‘A Whole New Way To Eat’, which is filled with deliciously nourishing recipes that you can create at home.

We first met Vladia a couple of years ago when we released Super Green Smoothies.  We met her when we did an in-store event at About Life (where she worked) demonstrating how to make smoothies from our book.  She is so warm and engaging and just such a lovely person.  Like us, she's also passionate about good, whole food and we could honestly chat with her for hours about our shared food philosophies.  As a qualified nutritionist, Vladia loves to educate and inspire others about the effects that good nutrition can have on one’s health and quality of life.  A Whole New Way to Eat' is a major stepping stone in this journey and we couldn't be more thrilled for her! 

The book is essentially a modern take on healthy eating for people who, like us, are way more interested in eating well than following the latest craze.  We especially love it because it promotes an attitude towards food that is just so in line with our own – “no more complexity just simplicity and goodness”.  There’s no worrying about grams of fat and sugar, just simple wholesome recipes that bring joy back into healthy eating.  How great is that?
