JET SET CHIC
Pretty much everyone we know (a tiny overstatement, but looking at Instagram, that's how it feels!) is headed to either Bali, Hawaii or Europe at the moment. And the question we keep getting is - I've packed the bikini... but what should I wear on the flight to look jet-set chic?
And even though we're sad we can't fit in your suitcase, we're here to help!
I’m all about mixing chic and comfort to create the perfect jet-setting outfit. For comfort and style I love a pair of boyfriend jeans with a loose t-shirt, leather jacket and flats, giving that relaxed yet still styled look. For a touch of casual cool, think skinny faux leather leggings, tee, ankle boots and a blazer.
If you're on a short flight and want to luxe it up a little more, pair relaxed-fit suit pants with a fitted knit and add a blazer, your fave pair of sunnies and brogues or flats.
For longer haul flights, I opt for a sporty luxe style. Think black tights or luxe trackies (from the likes of First Base, or The Upside), an oversized jumper, sleek sneakers and a scarf to top it off.
Wide brim hats, oversized sunnies, a brightly coloured travel wallet and a luxe carryall will finish off your look to perfection.
Don't forget to throw an extra layer or two into your carry-on for the added warmth as flights tend to get pretty chilly when you’re soaring 38,000 ft. above the clouds! Ahhhhhh.... are you sure you can't take us with you?
