ONE FOR YOU, ONE FOR ME
I consider myself so blessed that when Annabelle goes to school, I can afford to give her the school supplies she needs to get the most out of her education. But it makes me so sad to think that other families aren’t so lucky.
One in ten Aussie kids grow up in financially disadvantaged families. This means that they often can’t even afford the most basic school supplies like paper, pencils and other stationery essentials. Luckily, there’s an easy way we can help.
Yoobi is a kid’s stationery brand that works in partnership with The Smith Family to help young disadvantaged Australians succeed at school and create a better future for themselves. Basically, every time you purchase an item from Yoobi, they will donate another school item to a classroom in need. That’s where the name ‘Yoobi’ comes from – it literally means “one for you, one for me.”
We think this is such a clever, thoughtful idea! You are giving to someone in need, simply by giving to your own child. It’s a win-win situation. Not to mention, all their products are absolutely adorable!
Another bonus is that there is such a large range to choose from. They’ve got notebooks, journals, folders, pencil cases, scissors, staplers, pencils, pens, textas and so much more.
