As winter ends in just a couple of days (hallelujah!), we give you full permission to do your best Julia Roberts à la Pretty Woman impersonation and spend some time in the bath.

Although it makes for a super relaxing time, we’re recommending it as a chance to get your skin health back on track as we head into the warmer months.

Let us explain... we bet most of you exfoliate your face regularly to get rid of any build up and to get that fresh, glowing look, right? Well, the rest of your body should also look and feel that good, which is why it’s so important to regularly exfoliate your skin.

Our favourite ways to exfoliate skin are to either use a dry brush (brushing your skin before hopping in the bath or shower), or using a body scrub.

If you're new to dry body brushing, you’ll be amazed at how such a simple task can have such a staggering result. During winter, dry body brushing should be pretty much a non-negotiable… Why?  Well first off, it removes the dead layers of skin and other impurities.  It also stimulates and increases blood circulation, helps rejuvenate cells, improves skin texture, strengthens the immune system and even helps release fatty deposits under the skins surface. 

And that’s only about half of the list of benefits…better get brushing! 

If you want to opt for a body scrub, there's no shortage of excellent products to try and test. Generally speaking, your face is more sensitive than the rest of your skin so exfoliating your body is the best way to tgo while you work out which scrub you like best.
