SUPERCHARGED SNACKING


Lately, the SWIISH team and I have been looking for ways to supercharge our lunch and snacking routine.  I mean lets face it, nothing gets done on an empty stomach! 

So when we discovered Vita-Weat’s new Superfood range, it was a bit of a no-brainer. We all already know and love the original Vita-Weat crackers - after all, we grew up on them! - and this new range is packed full of our favourite superfood ingredients like quinoa, chia and flaxseed. So you get a boost of Omega-3 and fibre plus they’re low in fat and sugar, 100% natural (hence why they come with a 4.5 star health rating) and free from all the artificial stuff.

And the best bit is that not only are we getting all the superfood goodness, but these new Vita-Weat crackers are also super delish. This week, we whipped up a range of toppings for lunch in the office or on the go, and shared the snaps on our SWIISH instagram. We really felt the love and had so many people get in touch to ask us for all the details, so we have listed them all below.

The crsipbreads come in two flavours - Ancient Grains & Seeds with Quinoa & Chia or  5 Super Seeds with Chia, Flaxseed, Pumpkin, Sesame & Poppy, so you can mix and match!

Feel like supercharging your day too?  Here are some of our top combos:

Buffalo mozzarella, tomato & basil stacks, served with green and black olives.  Sprinkled with pink salt and crushed black pepper.


Persian labneh, diced red & yellow cherry tomatoes, chopped mint and oregano, drizzled with olive oil.  Topped with crushed black pepper.


Avocado & salad ‘sandwich’ with baby spinach, baby kale, basil, mint, avocado, tomato and thinly sliced radish.


Prawn & avocado stacks served with a squeeze of lemon and crushed black pepper.

 

Eggplant and feta salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, radish and a balsamic dressing.
