The Printed Tee

Nothing says effortless-cool quite like a printed tee. Ever since Carrie Bradshaw rocked her “Adore Dior 8” tee in Sex and the City we were hooked... and it’s fair to say that the printed tee is hitting its stride.

Celebs like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne and Kate Bosworth have all recently been spotted wearing this trend. Whether you’re dressing it up with a skirt and blazer, or down with jeans and converse, the best thing about this fashion staple is the price - so affordable!

When opting for a graphic tee, we like to give add a little more polish by wearing it with tailored pieces like a long blazer or cigarette pants. We love how Cara Delevingne has styled the look.

If you’re feeling more rock ’n’ roll go for a band tee. I love my KISS tee that I wore earlier this year. Tuck into shorts or a mini skirt and mellow out the rock edge with delicate jewelry.

If you’re after a bold statement, you can’t go past the slogan tee. Whether controversial or cute, a slogan on your t-shirt is always going to attract attention and make you stand out from the crowd.

Last, but by no means least, is the patterned tee. You’ve heard me declare my love for a striped tee before. And celebs like Miranda are feeling the love too. All-over printed t-shirts are soooo versatile. Take a cue from Jessica Alba and rock a little leopard print.

Shop the look at Sportsgirl, Topshop, General Pants, Market HQ and ASOS.
