What we leave out:
Is this a physical or chemical exfoliator?
It’s both. Physical exfoliation is provided by pumice and jojoba beads, whereas chemical exfoliation is provided by ingredients such as Lactobacillus/Papaya Fruit Ferment Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum Extract, Citrous Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Extract, and Citrous Limon Fruit Extract.
What are the main benefits of using this product?
The primary advantages of using this exfoliator are improved skin texture overall, increased skin cell turnover and a healthier skin microbiome. It helps to resurface dull skin, improves skin radiance, and even prevent future breakouts.
Is this suitable for all skin types?
Our Buff Me Daily Exfoliator is appropriate for all skin types. Its formula is gentle and effective, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types and conditions, and for regular use.
How often can I use it?
While gentle enough to use daily, you can still experience the benefits when used 2-3 times a week.
Can I use this exfoliator with any other exfoliating products?
We don’t recommend using our Buff Me Daily Exfoliator with other physical or chemical exfoliating products as it may increase the risk of over-exfoliation and skin irritation. You can, however, include it in your skincare routine on different days or alternate it with other exfoliating products.
What are the benefits of Willow Bark Extract?
Willow Bark Extract contains salicylic acid, a natural exfoliant that aids in the unclogging of pores, the reduction of acne and the promotion of a clearer complexion. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it useful for soothing and calming irritated skin.
What exactly does Lactobacillus/Papaya Fruit Ferment Extract do?
Lactobacillus/Papaya Fruit Ferment Extract is a product made by fermenting papaya fruit with Lactobacillus bacteria. It contains enzymes like papain, a natural exfoliant, that aids in the gentle removal of dead skin cells, the improvement of skin texture and the promotion of a smoother, brighter complexion.
When should I use this in my skincare routine?
Our Buff Me Daily Exfoliator can be used after removing makeup and cleansing skin. After exfoliating, follow with the rest of your skincare routine, including toner, serums, and oil/moisturiser.
